..a lot of things you can do to increase your website`s traffic,
but also there are some rules you should know ( to prevent that
your site will get blocked by the searchengines ) :
- Don`t
overuse keywords inside the page title , the METATAG "description"
and the METATAG "keywords . Don`t repeat the same word more
than 3 times there.
- Don`t
submit your site every day new. This will help nothing and may
result in blocking your website. You are chanceless then. It`s
ok to re-submit one month after the first submission ( just to
remind them of you ) and maybe every 6 weeks in that case that
you changed important things on your site.
- Don`t
fullfill your website text with only keywords just to get visitors.
Not only the searchengines..also the visitors will slap you.
- Don`t
implent keywords that have nothing in common with your website`s
content. In fact : If you don`t sell "sex", don`t use
it as keyword, too .
- Try
to present your visitors the content that you have promised
- Don`t
create several pages with exactly the same content and try to
submit each one single to the searchengines
- Don´t
use the "refresh" METATAG to redirect visitors automatically
from your starting page to another place. If you need to redirect
for some reason, use a blind gif and modify it with an javascript,
that says "on load go to this page" . Robots don`t understand
javascript and will not discover the trick.
